Pryor showcases new deep-marking product in PortaDot line at Offshore Europe 2015

Pryor presents its new deep-marking handheld machine PortaDot Deep Pneumatic at Offshore Europe 2015. This product is able to mark a heavy, large or immobile part with deep marks that remain visible after painting/coating, on rough surfaces and on weathering surfaces, and it is capable of marking as deep as 1.5mm in aluminium and 1mm in mild steel, the product of choice for oil and gas/pipeline, cast and forging and nuclear applications.
The peculiarity of this system is that it is the lightest pneumatic marking machine currently available in the market, it is fully programmable and it grants a large storage capacity for keeping track of many pre-designed layouts, with the support of an integrated software that does not require any computer connection for loading the designs, even if it is possible, because depth settings, spacing of the dots, character font and size, arc marking, Data Matrix marking, serial numbering, time and date marking and various other options can be done by the machine itself.
This product is also customizable to become a benchtop machine and a good tool in a production line environment, thanks to the optional column and base and the separatedly-sold balancer.
