InterBolt, exclusively distributed in Italy by UVIT, brings expert remote sensor technology into the world of bolting. Long term accurate monitoring of critical bolt loads ensures full bolted joint integrity and brings a revolution to bolting maintenance programs. No need for a yearly check on foundation bolts, for example, if the operator has a live reading of the bolt loads.
Sedwell Ltd, based in Bury St Edmunds, UK, has developed an integrated bolt load monitoring system. The technology provides real-time bolt load measurements for proof of bolt loads during installation and long term monitoring. It has an innovative miniature embedded sensing element which features a long-life battery and long-range wireless communications.
