Technip has awarded two new contracts by Statoil in the North Sea

Technip was awarded by Statoil ASA two lump sum contracts for infield pipeline construction for the Johan Sverdrup Development – one of the largest oil fields in the North Sea and was discovered late 2011. The first development phase is targeted to be on-stream in 2019 – and the Oseberg Vestflanken 2 – a development of the oil and gas structures Alfa, Gamma and Kappa, approximately located at 8 kilometers northwest of the Oseberg field center – projects.
The contracts awarded to Technip cover the fabrication and installation of 29 kilometers of plastic lined 16” water injection flowlines for Johan Sverdrup, and the fabrication and installation of 7.5 kilometers of 14” production pipeline and 9 kilometers of 10” gas injection pipeline for Oseberg Vestflanken 2.
