ECITB courses and certifications will now be available in Italy, following UVIT’s accreditation by the internationally recognized ECITB (Engineering Construction Industry Training Board).
After over 18 months of evaluation by the UK-based ECITB, UVIT has been approved to deliver courses on Hydraulically Torque and Tension Bolted Connection Techniques at its headquarter in Italy and in the Italian language.
These courses, along with the accompanying internationally recognized certifications for those who complete the training and pass the final assessments, focus on the correct usage of three distinct tightening tools: manual torque wrenches, hydraulic tensioners and hydraulic torque wrenches. Each tool will have its own dedicated course, following ECITB methodologies and using official teaching materials. Upon successful completion, participants will receive an international certification from ECITB, with traceability through the ECITB portal.
Additionally, participants can opt for a comprehensive, one-time training covering the correct usage of all three tools, which will culminate in an overarching certification. The courses are initially scheduled to be offered once a month.
