The new Butterfly Valve 565 Big builds on this formula by adding larger dimensions that are particularly suitable for applications like desalination and water distribution.
In terms of construction, the 565 Big shares a number of features with the rest of the range. The valve housing is made of glass fiber reinforced polypropylene, while the disc is made of metal-reinforced polyethylene. As a result, it is up to 20% lighter than metal alternatives. Despite its lightweight construction and short installation length, a PN10 pressure rating makes the 565 Big the strongest thermoplastic butterfly valve with a short installation length on the market.
