Germany’s KSB SE & Co KGaA and HERMETIC-Pumpen GmbH have signed a cooperation agreement to jointly advance canned motor pump technology for the civil nuclear sector.
The collaboration brings together the two companies’ long-standing expertise in hermetically sealed pumping solutions, aimed at delivering innovative equipment for nuclear power plant operators. Under the agreement, KSB will take exclusive responsibility for sales of jointly defined product lines in selected markets, while HERMETIC will contribute its extensive know-how in the development and construction of canned motor pumps.
According to the partners, the initiative will strengthen their global competitiveness and opens new opportunities in a challenging nuclear market landscape. They view the cooperation as “an important contribution to the safe and sustainable use of civil nuclear energy.”
