Trillium Pump signs CPA with Saudi Aramco

Trillium Pump Italy, through its Gabionetta Pumps and Termomeccanica Pompe brands, has signed a corporate purchase agreement with Saudi Aramco, one of the world’s leading energy groups. The agreement represents a strategic step in the company’s journey in the Saudi market, begun over forty years ago.
Trillium’s presence in Saudi Arabia dates back to the 1980s, with the first supplies made through large Italian engineering firms. Over time, thanks to the reliability of its products, the company has consolidated its position through international EPC contractors, operating in the water, power generation, and oil & gas sectors. Fifteen years ago, a local service center was opened, strengthening relations with the Saudi market and expanding its operations to include other rotating machinery, leveraging the experience of the group’s service division. With the Saudi Vision 2030 program, the Kingdom has launched a vast infrastructure and industrial investment plan, focusing on production localization and technology transfer. “The reputation built over four decades of operation and the technological content of our products,” explains Chairman Edoardo Garibotti, “have led Saudi Aramco to consider us suitable for industrial localization, with the prospect of becoming a preferred supplier in future investment programs.” Two years ago, a project was launched to expand the xenter service facility to carry out part of the pump production locally. The multi-million euro investment included new facilities, technology transfer, production process adaptations, IT systems integration, and local staff training. The new facility was inaugurated in December 2025. The signing of the corporate purchase agreement represents the recognition of this journey. “It’s a first step,” Garibotti concludes, “but it demonstrates the trust we’ve earned and strengthens our position as a technology partner in one of the world’s most strategic markets. We will continue to invest, innovate, and grow alongside our partners in Saudi Arabia.”
