Oliver Valves Supplies Class 2500 Double Block And Bleed Valves For Bruce Hub Project

Oliver Valves has completed a new batch of D Type Double Block and Bleed valves for use on the Bruce Hub, one of the UK North Sea’s most established offshore energy assets.
The order includes Class 2500 valves, designed for demanding high-pressure service and manufactured to meet strict offshore project requirements. The valves are fire-safe and produced in line with NORSOK standards, reflecting the level of performance, safety and reliability expected for critical North Sea applications.
Located approximately 340 km north-east of Aberdeen, the Bruce Hub is operated by Serica Energy and comprises three bridge-linked platforms. The complex produces from the Bruce, Keith and Rhum fields and continues to play an important role in the UK’s offshore energy supply.
For Oliver Valves, the project is another example of its long-standing connection with the North Sea and its continued support for major offshore operators and contractors. Since 1979, the company has built its reputation on specialist valve engineering for harsh, high-pressure and safety-critical environments.
The D Type Double Block and Bleed valve range is designed to provide effective isolation and venting within a compact, robust assembly.
