Brimis Engineering Pty Ltd, a Middelburg-based mechanical engineering firm specializing in industrial pumps and valves, has been appointed exclusive authorized agent for SchuF Group across South Africa. The agreement covers the German manufacturer’s full brand portfolio: SchuF’s severe-service specialty valves, Fetterolf’s shut-off and line blind valves, SNRI’s isolation and safety valves for power generation and cryogenic duty, and La TechnoValvo’s custom flow-control solutions.
Founded in 1911 and headquartered near Frankfurt am Main, SchuF Group manufactures in Germany, Ireland, the USA and India, supplying industries including power generation, petrochemicals, chemicals, refining and mining.
Andile Nqandela, Founder and CEO of Brimis Engineering, said SchuF valves already have “a long-standing, proven track record in some of South Africa’s most demanding industrial environments.”
Through the new agreement, Brimis will handle local distribution, promotion and technical support for the full SchuF product range, giving South African end users faster access to new equipment, spare parts and aftermarket service — and reducing downtime on existing installations.
