Trillium Flow Technologies completes sale of US pumps business to Crane Co

First Reserve-backed Trillium Flow Technologies has completed the sale of its US pumps business, Trillium Pumps US (TPU), to industrial manufacturing and technology company Crane Company.
TPU serves critical infrastructure and industrial markets through a portfolio of established pump brands, engineering capabilities and aftermarket services.
“TPU has made tremendous progress, driven by the commitment of its people, disciplined execution and a continued focus on customers,” said Doug Kitani, CEO of Trillium Flow Technologies. “We are proud of what has been accomplished and believe Crane represents a strong long-term home for the business, its brands and its people.”
The sale forms part of Trillium’s strategy to position its businesses for long-term success. Following completion, the company will concentrate on strengthening Trillium Pumps International (TPI), which remains within its portfolio.
“This transaction reflects the disciplined execution of our value creation strategy,” said Kerem Yilmaz, chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Trillium Flow Technologies. “This successful transaction is the result of significant work across the organization over many years. We remain focused on strengthening TPI’s performance, supporting its people and customers, and continuing the work underway across the business.”
First Reserve managing partner Jeff Quake said TPU’s performance and market position reflected the progress achieved through its partnership with Trillium’s management team.
The investment firm will continue supporting Trillium as it develops TPI’s established brands, engineering expertise and market position.
