Circor to acquire Green Silence Group to expand industrial pump portfolio

Circor has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Italian engineering and technology company Green Silence Group SpA, expanding its industrial portfolio with complementary pump, electric motor and control technologies.
The acquisition will bring together the capabilities of Green Silence Group businesses Settima, Motive and Spin, adding three-screw and ultra-low-noise hydraulic pumps, electric motors, high-efficiency rare-earth-free motor technologies, power electronics and advanced engineering solutions to Circor’s offering.
The combination is intended to strengthen Circor’s capabilities across industrial and mobile applications, helping customers improve system efficiency, reduce energy consumption and lower dependency on critical raw materials.
“The acquisition of Green Silence Group is an important step in strengthening and expanding our Industrial business,” said Saif Siddiqui, CEO of Circor.
He added: “It enhances our core pump offering in Industrial and Power Generation markets, while adding complementary technologies that expand our capabilities in mobile applications. We look forward to welcoming the Green Silence Group team and combining our expertise to accelerate innovation, strengthen customer partnerships and drive long-term growth.”
Green Silence Group will become part of Circor’s Industrial Pumps Europe business following completion. Its employees will also join Circor’s employee ownership programme.
Daniel Stirpe, SVP/GM Industrial Pumps Europe, said: “By combining our expertise in pump technologies with advanced electric motor and control technologies, we can deliver more comprehensive solutions for our customers.”
For Green Silence Group, the acquisition is expected to provide access to Circor’s global commercial and operational platform, supporting international expansion and access to new markets.
Luca Pellegrini, CEO of Green Silence Group, said: “Joining Circor marks an exciting next chapter for our businesses and our teams.”
The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
