Pipe, valves and fittings distributor Wolseley Industrial Group, the industrial division of Ferguson Enterprises, has announced the acquisition of Action Automation, an automation business headquartered in Alsip, IL. The transaction was completed Aug. 20 for an undisclosed amount. The company will operate as Action Automation, a Wolseley Industrial Group company.
Founded in 1997, Action Automation specializes in providing actuators, actuated valves and repair solutions and is an authorized stocking distributor of Limitorque (Flowserve) actuators and parts for four states in the Midwest. The company will now operate as Action Automation, a Wolseley Industrial Group company.
“Growing our valve and automation business is a priority for us,” said Ferguson CEO Kevin Murphy. “With Action Automation, we gain expertise and experience from a leading industry supplier of actuators to better serve our customers.”
