Multiphase oil and gas expert joins TÜV SÜD NEL

Leading multiphase expert, Anna Pieper is joining TUV SUD NEL in September to strengthen the delivery of the lab’s multiphase research, testing and consultancy services.
“We have recruited Anna to boost our expertise and leadership in multiphase testing and research,” says Operations Director, Mark Roscoe. “She will be providing significant support to Senior Consultant, Dr Bruno Pinguet. She is well known within the oil and gas sector and we look forward to welcoming her on board.”
Anna started her career at Schlumberger in 2008 as a field engineer based in Louisiana, USA.
“I am really looking forward to joining,” says Anna. “One of the main things that excites me about the organisation is the new Advanced Multiphase Facility and the potential this holds to advance the research and development of cutting edge technology.”
“Multiphase flow measurement technology has already proven to be a game changer in the industry,” she says. “But there is more to be done to fine tune and refine the technology. I’m looking forward to being a part of a strong team leading the way into the future of multiphase flow measurement.”
Anna started professional life with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Minnesota and her career has included roles as a field engineer, location manager and technical support engineer, principally in relation to multiphase technologies.
She has worked in many different locations, including the Gulf of Mexico, Tunisia, Equatorial Guinea, Ecuador and Canada. Her main areas of expertise include well testing services, multiphase flow metering, data acquisition and surface well testing.
“Anna’s recruitment is a precursor to a recently agreed recruitment plan that will strengthen leadership in our facilities and our research,” says Mark. “The plan has been designed to bring in expertise that will support our future in digital services and increase the productivity of our existing service portfolio.”
