Binder enlarges its M12 connector line with a M12 crimp connector

Designed to withstand vibration more effectively than screw and solder terminated connectors, the new crimp connection has a prominent benefit against acute working conditions and high motion applications.
The crimped connection guarantees a secure connection with high vibration and shock loads. The advantage of the crimp design is the gas tight pin connection – this ensures low contact resistance, even under extreme loads. Another advantage is the processing of the contacts outside of the connector and later latching during the assembly process. Male and female gold turned contacts are sold separately and accept wires between 22 and 20 AWG. Assembly of the contacts use conventional crimp tools and crimp machines. A synthetic slider is also included in the female cable connector in assistance with holding the contacts during assembly.
These connectors come in A- or B-coding, an iris-spring shielding, and an IP67 certification when fully mated, and can work at 3A/250V while connected to a 4-7 to 5-8mm cables.
