Craig International picks up first contract with Petrofac

Aberdeen-based Craig International has secured £50 million of new work in the first half of the year and landed its first contract with Petrofac in the UK.
This latest win comes on the back of two major contracts with Spirit Energy and BP which the firm says cements Craig International’s market-leading position in the UKCS.
To remind, the company secured a £21 million contract with Spirit Energy in May for a duration of seven years. The £20 million contract with BP for maintenance, repair, and operations of all operator’s assets on the UK Continental Shelf was signed only days after the Spirit Energy deal.
Under the Petrofac deal, Craig will provide third-party procurement services and the supply of general oilfield products to support Petrofac’s offshore operations in the North Sea.
According to the company, the contract is for three years with an option to extend for further two years.
Steve McHardy, joint managing director of Craig International, said: “We are thrilled to have added Petrofac to our list of clients which now accounts for around 75 percent of the UKCS market.
“With over 20 years’ experience in the North Sea, we have a strong track record of delivering third-party procurement that is time and cost-efficient and we are looking forward to showing what we can do for Petrofac.”
