Roberto Bartolena, 82, president of GWC Italia, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 12.
In a message to company members and colleagues, Paolo Palella, chairman and chief executive officer, wrote: “with deep pain, we hereby announce that our beloved president, Eng. Roberto Bartolena, has passed away.”
Altogether, he served the valve industry for over 50 years, cofounding Grove Italia, contributed to the success of the company, founding PBVS, Velan Italy, Valbart and GWC Italia.
