The Enerpac DSX aluminum square drive hydraulic torque wrenches include industry-first and patented design features, which enable safer and easier operation while working at height. The five models in the series feature a working-at-height tether point and a retained reaction arm to prevent injury and near misses from dropped objects. Operator safety is enhanced, thanks to a fully enclosed drive and an ergonomic safety handle. ATEX approval of all models in the DSX range provides reassurance for the operator when working in explosive atmospheres.
Ease of operation is vital when working at height, and the new DSX wrenches excel in this area. The lightweight and robust aluminum body keep the tool weight to a minimum, and the integral 360 x 180 degree high flow stainless steel swivel ensures hydraulic hoses are easy to manage. One problem often encountered when bolting on-site is when torque wrenches ‘lock on’ during a bolting project. This is both disruptive and annoying, however, the fine-tooth ratchet used in the DSX wrenches stops this from happening. The DSX Torque Wrenches are available with square drive sizes ranging from 3/4 to 2 ½”, and for safety and convenience, these are retained and released quickly using a push button.
