Score Group appoint new CEO

Score announced the appointment of Gordon Ronaldson as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Group effective 1 July 2020.  He is based at the Group’s headquarters in Peterhead.
Gordon began his career with the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineering Officer.  After 12 years service, he joined Royal Dutch Shell as an Offshore Installation Manager in the UKNS and progressed through various operational roles culminating in becoming the Regional Production Manager for AsiaPac.  He then moved to Talisman Energy UK where he was the Production Director and a member of the UKLT.  His career then continued as the COO of Global Energy Group before joining Wood plc in 2016.  He arrives at Score having worked for Wood as a Senior Vice President in 3 separate roles: Russia Caspian, Saudi Arabia and Middle East.
Score welcomes Gordon’s broad and diverse international experience, from both the operator and contracting sectors.  He is a member of the Board and reports to Chairman Colin Welsh.
