IMI Critical Engineering has recently been awarded a large aftermarket project in central Brazil.
The USD 3.4m project for IMI InterAtiva and IMI Remosa includes a contract for the supply of spare parts for FCC (Fluidised Catalytic Converter) Special Valves and Hydraulic Actuation Systems (USD 2.5m) and a contract to supply field supervision and execution services for the repair work (USD 900k) at the FCC unit of a refinery located in central Brazil. This important contract completes FCC Turn Around project for the refinery.

We have worked with this major customer for more than two and a half years with determination and perseverance, and this has paid off. Despite problems and delays caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, the unexpected drop in fuel consumption throughout Brazil, and the simultaneous drop in the price of crude oil, our team successfully closed the order as the sole source provider.”
