Emerson Korea to Participate in ‘WHE 2025’, Unveiling Hydrogen Industry Instrumentation and Valve Solutions

Emerson Korea, a global technology and software company, will participate in the world’s largest hydrogen industry exhibition, ‘World Hydrogen Expo 2025 (hereinafter WHE 2025),’ held at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do from December 4 to 7.

This exhibition brings together global hydrogen companies and government officials from various countries to share next-generation hydrogen technologies and trends and foster collaboration. Starting this year, the “Hydrogen International Conference” and the existing international exhibition “H2 MEET” will be integrated into a single event that combines both conference and exhibition.

Emerson Korea provides sustainable automation solutions across the entire industry, from hydrogen production to transportation, storage, and utilization. Under the theme of “Building a Smarter and Safer Hydrogen Value Chain,” this exhibition will showcase instrumentation and valve solutions that meet the demanding conditions of liquefied hydrogen, such as the ultra-low temperature environment and the corrosion and erosion risks of ammonia, while enhancing the safety and efficiency of hydrogen storage and transportation.

The exhibition booth will showcase key technologies that accelerate hydrogen industry innovation and ensure the stability and reliability of infrastructure, such as smart instrumentation solutions based on precision measurement and wireless data, flame and gas detection safety solutions, and pressure and safety relief valves for liquid hydrogen (LH₂) infrastructure.

Emerson has proven its technological reliability through various domestic and international hydrogen projects, contributing to the establishment and expansion of hydrogen infrastructure with its expertise and know-how. Emerson was selected as an automation partner for HysOne’s project to build a large-capacity hydrogen charging station and storage facility for commercial vehicles, supplying key equipment such as pressure and temperature transmitters, ultrasonic gas leak detectors, and pressure regulators, actively supporting the development of the domestic hydrogen ecosystem. In partnership with

Toyota Australia, Emerson provided a process control system for the construction of a commercial-grade hydrogen production, storage, and fueling plant. Emerson applied the DeltaV™ distributed control system (DCS) to establish an efficient operating environment based on real-time process data collection and monitoring. Furthermore, as a technology partner to Australian hydrogen storage and distribution company H2 Hauler, Emerson built an integrated hydrogen transport management system to enhance the safety and reliability of the supply chain.

Emerson Korea CEO Jae-Sung Jeong said, “Emerson has been actively supporting the establishment of a smart operating environment and the growth of the ecosystem based on the actual references and technological capabilities accumulated in the global hydrogen industry field,” and “Through this exhibition, we expect to experience the advancement of automation solutions across the entire hydrogen industry process and strengthen cooperation with domestic and foreign partners.”
