Engineering contractor Subsea7 has been awarded a large EPCI contract for Phase 3 of the Sakarya gas field, Türkiye’s flagship offshore gas project in the Black Sea. The scope includes subsea umbilicals, risers, and flowlines, essential infrastructure for transporting hydrocarbons from the seabed to shore. The project is central to Türkiye’s energy independence strategy, and valve and flow control technologies will play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient operations. For Subsea7, the award builds on its established presence in the region and demonstrates its ability to deliver complex subsea infrastructure at scale.
