Gazprom and Chinese CPECC agreed to build the Amur GPP

Gazprom recently released a statement in which is announced that, following an open competitive procedure, the decision was made to engage China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation (СРЕСС, affiliated with CNPC) in the construction of the Amur gas processing plant (GPP) on the basis of an EPC contract.
According to the contract, СРЕСС will design, manufacture and supply equipment, as well as build booster compressor shops and gas dehydration, purification and fractionation units.
The contract requires the involvement of Russian compressor equipment producers and a Russian specialized company responsible for supplying all the units with automation systems.
An agreement between NIPIGAZ (general contractor managing the construction of the Amur GPP) and СРЕСС will be signed shortly.
