A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Aldo Belloni, Chief Executive Officer of Linde, took place at the Gazprom headquarters, as reported in a press rellease by Gazprom.
The parties discussed a wide range of matters related to cooperation in the oil and gas sector, focusing, inter alia, on the construction of the Amur gas processing plant. The plant, which will become the largest gas processing facility in Russia, is confirmed being built according to schedule.
The Amur GPP, with a design capacity of 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year, will be constructed near Svobodny, in the Amur Region. The GPP will include the world’s largest helium production facility.
Linde will supply the Amur GPP with the core process equipment for cryogenic recovery of helium and petrochemical substances from gas.
