ARCA Regler delivers valves for polymerization plant

For the new building of a polymerization plant in Chernigov / Ukraine ARCA has received the order for the delivery of approximately 100 control valves.
In the new plant polyamide is produced that will be processed to tire cord for carcasses. The valves in nominal widths of DN 25 up to DN 250 made from cast steel or stainless steel respectively are equipped with the compact multi-spring actuators Type 812 and the reliable smart positioner ARCAPRO® Type 827A from ARCA.
A particularly big constructive challenge were the valves for Lactam or smelter in special design with double pipe heating jackets. The pipe for the medium is here surrounded with a second pipe for the heating with Diphyl. In this way the cooling down and crystallizing of the medium can be prevented. Apart from this the valves are equipped with welding ends and can therefore directly be welded into the double pipeline without flanges being necessary for the connection with the pipelines.
