Baker Hughes awarded control valves contract for the Diamond Green Diesel plant

Diamond Green Diesel Holdings (DGD) is a 50-50 joint venture of Valero Energy and Darling Ingredients, building a grassroots 470-million gal/year renewable diesel plant at Valero’s 395,000-b/d refinery in Port Arthur, Texas, along the Texas Gulf Coast. The new renewable diesel plant is scheduled to be completed and begin commercial operation in second-half 2023.
Baker Hughes has been awarded a control valve equipment contract which includes a wide range of valve products, from ball valves to severe service valves like the Lincoln Log high pressure liquid letdown valve. Baker Hughes – Masoneilan will provide their 36005 V-Max ball valves, 21000 and 41005 linear globe valves, 35002 Camflex Valves, 28000 Varipak micro valves and the 78400/18400 Lincoln Log Anti Cavitation valve. Materials of construction will be Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Hasteloy based on application requirements.
