BROEN appoints Ken Sørensen as chief executive officer

BROEN Valve Technology announced the appointment of Ken Sørensen as CEO, effective January 2, 2025.

Ken Sørensen is no stranger to BROEN, having previously worked with the company from 2006 to 2012. First in the capacity as Managing Director of BROEN Russia and later, after having returned to Denmark in 2009, as head of the District Heating and Gas business unit.

Following his initial tenure at BROEN, Ken held senior management positions at Siemens Wind Power, Viking Life-Saving Equipment. Most recently, he managed a wind turbine installation and service business as CEO of Blue Water Energy Services.

Mogens Laursen, who recently served as interim CEO, will return to his role as Chairman of the Board. Ken plan to visit all BROEN global facilities during January to meet the local teams.
