Flow to the future: GF Piping Systems presents sustainable process automation solutions & launches Butterfly Valve 565

In a game-changing global hybrid event on April 29th, GF Piping Systems introduces its’ latest process automation innovations and will spotlight its new Butterfly Valve 565. In a flow of thought-provoking panel discussions and informative expert talks, including an inspirational keynote from former boxing world champion Regina Halmich from Germany, attendees can experience the future of water treatment and pose their questions to the assembled line-up of industry heavy-hitters at the event.

Attraction with punch – beats metal in every round
The main attraction, Butterfly Valve 565, the newcomer to GF Piping Systems line-up of butterfly valves, is specifically designed to beat metal butterfly valves in a wide range of applications. In a boxing ring, round by round, the new all-plastic valve 565 will challenge a metal butterfly valve. “The settled old metal champion is confronted with the strong, defeating punches of this future-proof newcomer,” Regina Halmich explains. The famous European boxer will be the keynote speaker at the new valve’s hybrid product launch event.
“The Butterfly Valve 565 is a complete solution for the water segment which solves all of the typical problems customers have been experiencing with metal valves,” says Thomas Kuessner, Head of Product Management – Valves. “Thanks to its higher resistance against corrosion, longer service life, and more effective use of energy and resources during industrial production, our new Swiss-made valve provides a more cost-effective and sustainable solution for a wide range of applications. Its quick and simple retrofit capability adds to the knockout arguments that will make our highly reliable and lightweight valve a winner in the market segment.”
Often, metal butterfly valves suffer from wear – whether due to corrosion, contamination, or extended use – they are not as durable and need to be replaced. The resulting downtime leads to delays in operations, additional installation and purchasing costs, and the need to deploy an expert to install, check, and monitor the new metal valve.
The new release from GF Piping Systems is made from superior thermoplastics and built to last, with a longer lifespan in many industries’ applications and a greater contribution to a more sustainable world.

Together as ONE – Process Automation & Water Treatment
Together with its partners and customers in expert talks and panel discussions, GF Piping Systems will showcase its process automation and water treatment solutions of the future. All of which can contribute to better water quality and reduce the impact these processes have on the environment.
“GF Piping Systems is not just a single valve, actuator, controller, or sensor provider but offers the complete process control loop portfolio specifically customized to customer needs, with a premium product range under one common aesthetic,” says Antoine Walter, Senior Business Development Manager – Waste Water Treatment, “To simplify planners’ and installers’ lives, GF can provide a one partner, one process, one platform approach to process automation for multiple water treatment applications.
Throughout the event, the Smart Actuator, FlowtraMag 2581, and Ball Valve 546 Pro will be touchable using augmented reality to ensure attendees can enjoy a virtual experience of these market-leading innovations.
