KITZ launches the first production site in Vietnam

On December 10, 2024, KITZ Corporation conducted an opening ceremony for the new plant of its subsidiary, KITZ Corporation of Vietnam, located in Vinh Phuc Province, Vietnam.

The opening ceremony was attended by approximately 100 stakeholders, including construction partners and business associates. Makoto Kohno, President of KITZ, and Hajime Sakamoto, General Director of KCV, greeted the guests and expressed gratitude towards everyone involved in its construction. A guided tour was conducted at the opening ceremony.

KITZ is a comprehensive valve manufacturer whose strength lies in integrated production from casting. Currently, they have their own factories in China, Taiwan, and Thailand, as well as production sites acquired through M&A in Spain, Germany, Brazil, India, and South Korea. KCV was established in 2023, aiming to expand the production capacity of stainless steel valves, one of core products used across various industrial sectors. This move was also for ensuring a stable supply and avoiding geopolitical risks by diversifying production locations. With an agile approach to meet market demands, KCV intends to drive the medium to long-term sales growth for the entire KITZ Group.

In addition, KITZ is currently constructing a new building on the same site to produce high-purity gas valves used in semiconductor manufacturing processes. This new facility is expected to be operational by the end of 2025.
