Momentum Group acquires Actuated Solutions Limited – establishes position in the UK

Momentum Group has signed an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares in Actuated Solutions Limited (ASL), a well-established specialist in valve automation in the United Kingdom. The acquisition represents Momentum Group’s first step into the UK market, with ASL becoming part of its Flow Technology business unit.
“This acquisition is strategically important as it marks our entry into the UK. ASL has built a strong position within valve automation through long-standing customer and supplier relationships, with a clear focus on quality and service. The company shares part of its supplier base with our group company BPS, complementing our existing operations while providing a strong platform for future growth in the UK,” said Ulf Lilius, President and CEO of Momentum Group.
Founded in 2003, Actuated Solutions Limited specializes in valve automation solutions, particularly electric and pneumatic actuators. The company has developed a strong market position in the UK, supported by long-term partnerships with valve manufacturers and OEM companies, including HKC and Quifer.
ASL serves customers across sectors such as water, process industry, HVAC, and oil and gas. The company generates annual revenues of approximately GBP 3.2 million and employs nine people. It operates from its facility in Bognor Regis on the south coast of England, which includes warehouse, office, assembly, and testing capabilities.
