SAMSON has achieved a key milestone in its factory relocation initiative, with the electronics manufacturing operations now fully operational at its new Offenbach am Main site. The transition from the previous headquarters in Frankfurt am Main was completed seamlessly, ensuring uninterrupted production throughout the move. All machinery and equipment were installed as scheduled, and around 200 employees have commenced work at the new location. The facility now handles the complete production of SAMSON’s positioners, one of the company’s core products.
Employees have quickly adapted to the modern workspace, praising the improved working conditions, advanced technical infrastructure, and open, well-lit environment. The next phase involves transferring the full inventory of electronic components to Offenbach, which will be completed by 1 December 2025. From that date onward, the entire positioner manufacturing process—from material handling to final assembly—will be conducted entirely at the new facility.
Construction at the site continues at pace, with interior work on adjacent production units progressing according to plan. As part of SAMSON’s sustainability initiatives, solar panels are being installed on select rooftops, while other areas are being developed as green roofs to enhance energy efficiency.
Additional progress includes the setup of machinery in the new electroplating and valve production sections. Around 40% of factory equipment is being modernized as part of the relocation, paving the way for higher operational efficiency and future-ready production. With the electronics unit now operational, focus will shift to machining operations, including the transfer of CNC machines and Swiss-type automatic lathes for complex part production. These steps bring SAMSON closer to consolidating all production under one advanced Offenbach facility.
