Its 35000 m2 design incorporates state-of-the-art computerised industrial presses, lathes, ovens and cyber-safe security systems that will enable J A Harrison to work on the world’s most guarded defence, aerospace, rail and automotive projects.
Enhanced handling, packaging, storage, cleaning, waste control and review processes are also in place to ensure a supply of uncontaminated products to petrochemical, water treatment, pharmaceutical and food processing companies.
The official opening will also acknowledge the launch of an apprenticeship scheme and the rebranding of J A Harrison to appeal more directly to overseas users of it products.
