Sarasin-RSBD – 170th Anniversary

The Weir team located at the manufacturing plant in Vendin-le-Vieil, France took the opportunity to celebrate the 170th Anniversary of the Sarasin-RSBD this past December.
Sarasin-RSBD was originally owned by several private companies before being acquired by Weir in 1998 at which point its global footprint expanded rapidly. Since then, the Sarasin-RSBD product line, which started out serving just the French process industries, has grown to be technically advanced, globally recognized and highly competitive.
On 21st December, the Weir team located at the manufacturing plant in Vendin-le-Vieil, France took the opportunity to celebrate the 170th Anniversary of the Sarasin-RSBD product range with a party of some splendour. It was not only a great chance for the team to be involved in recognizing the longevity of a superb product, but also for the company to acknowledge the great work which has been put in by the team over many years.
The function in December brought together long-standing dedicated product team members along with newer additions to the product team. They were all able to reminisce, exchange stories, and look together to the future, that is of course before the dancing and the excellent French cuisine provided by management had its mellowing effect.
