TTV has announced its new valve system for water and wastewater management, the Wras Approved Gate valve.
TTV’s resilient seated Gate Valve is available in sizes ranging from 2″ to 24″ offering a wide range of suitable applications and services including Potable Water, Waste Water, Seawater, Air Conditioning, Heating, Irrigation and Fire Fighting.
The Wras Approved Gate Valve consists of a GJS 400-15 Ductile Iron body in compliance with EN1074, as well as the valve wedges are constructed in Ductile Iron with a vulcanized rubber coating capable of operation in temperatures up to 120°C. Sealing areas of the body remain flat offering an unrestricted flow path and ensure a 100% leak tightness. This avoids and possible maintenance or sealing issues that may arise through the accumulation of dirt and other debris solids within a small cavity.
Internal and external body coatings are finished with a 300 micron epoxy paint, Wras-approved for use with potable drinking water applications.
