EnerQuip wins Middle East contract for containerised workshops

EnerQuip, a supplier of torque machine solutions, said it secured a US$850,000 contract to supply containerised workshops for a Kuwait-based oilfield service company.
EnerQuip has designed and manufactured a high torque machine to complement a total of five containerised workshops, which include a power source, air conditioning and assembly and control units.
These self-sufficient, containerised units will enable the client to mobilise operations rapidly and maintain tools across the Middle East without the need for significant capex investment.
Andrew Robins, director at EnerQuip, said: “In areas with no existing infrastructure these containerised workshops provide a comprehensive, cost-effective solution to maintain vital equipment. This contract is a testament to our continual investment in research and development and the experience our team has in building and delivering mobile field solutions.”
The company will deliver the workshop containers during the first quarter of 2019. Over the last 12-months, EnerQuip has supplied more than eight torque machines to the Middle East and is growing an expansive portfolio of equipment in the region.
“Our next milestone in the Middle East will be to establish a dedicated facility so we can provide an even greater and more detailed level of service for our clients. We’re experiencing a surge of activity in the region and putting boots on the ground is a natural next step to support our growing client base,” Robins added.
