Val‐Matic Valve & Manufacturing Corporation, has welcomed Sandra Diaz to the team as the Director of Planning and Forecasting.
Sandra Diaz began her career on the customer service side and eventually crossed into inventory and supply chain management. Over the years, she has held positions such as Director of Purchasing and Director of Manufacturing in the PPE manufacturing industry. She entered the supply chain side twelve years ago and has grown her skillset in that area, gaining responsibility in each role.
Sandra has lived in the Chicagoland area most of her life. She has been married for 20 years with two children, 18 and 14, two dogs and a bearded dragon. In her spare time, she likes to garden and go on long walks with her dog. She might also be found in her happy place on the beach or learning to practice meditation.
In this role, Sandra aims to give clear direction to the existing planning and purchasing teams. She will provide leadership to improve supply chain and planning processes, expanding on the strengths of current co‐workers in both areas.
